INORI 2017

As a follow-up to my mobility post, here’s a post on something that might hit home a little easier. Another reason why I’m unproductive is because I spend a fair amount of time reading manga.

Naw, don’t worry, I don’t read light romance or shoujo (well, not that much), I’m more of a classic shounen guy. Mangas like Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Eyeshield 21, Fullmetal Alchemist, etc. are more of my modus operandi.

However, I have read and enjoyed some non-action mangas (eff you Koe no Katachi), so at least that shows that I still have a heart.

I spend a good amount of time reading manga because we have a lot of manga here at home. My dad bought tons of collections of manga for the sake of satisfying his inner child. You see, shounen was booming back in the old golden days when he was still young. As you can see, there’s probably something genetic about all this otaku-ness.

So, returning to recent events, there was another INORI festival at SMAN 3, and I certainly went considering how important it was for my motivation to get into a decent high school. This year’s INORI wasn’t as good as last year’s in my opinion, but at least I got some nifty merchandise.

By the way, now that I think about it, I still have those pins, stickers, and that Kirisaki Chitoge poster I bought from last year… Hmm… They lasted longer than expected.

Before I start ranting about strange otaku-ish stuff that most of you wouldn’t get, I’m just going to end this post with a few pictures.

Pretty interesting if you ask me.
